Membership By Invitation Only
- Invitations to become a member are sent to selected bed and breakfast inns that we believe meet our minimum standards for membership.
- The minimum requirement for membership is meeting the local government qualifications for owning and operating a bed and breakfast inn.
- The annual dues is the same for all levels
of membership*
Rating System
- Our rating system is based upon licensing, inspections and creditable reviews bestowed upon our members. It is the travelers responsibility to investigate the content of reviews and inspections.
- Our rating system is based upon the number of times innkeepers submit to media evaluation not by the evaluation the innkeeper receives.
- Reviews older than five years are unacceptable.
- We do not judge our members according to amenities provided suxh as: luxury, historical significance, location etc. Niether do we rate according to comments submitted by users of our web site or from comments received by innkeepers.
- We do encourage and welcome comments from travelers. This information will be forwarded by email or faxed to our members.
- Re-occurring complaints need to be addressed
by correcting the problem or by listing the objection on our information
page. Members understand that failure to respond to re-occurring complaints
may result in forfeiting their membership.
Information Page
- Bed & Breakfast In Napa Valley has full editorial control of the information page. Amenities are written from our point of view, not the innkeepers point of view.
- Although we rely very heavily on the trust of our members that this information is correct, members clearly understand that false information is cause for revoking membership immediately without refund of any dues paid in advance.
- Tourist using our directory
are encouraged to let us know if any collected information is
incorrect.
What we do not do
- We do not personally inspect the properties of our members.
- We do not guarantee that all information provided members is correct.
- We do not suspend membership
due to minor or one time only complaints.
